What do our interior design fees cover?

Interior design fees at Lesign Studio cover a comprehensive range of services to ensure a seamless and exceptional design experience. Our fees are split into two phases: Design and Execution. A calculator is provided for you below to estimate the design fees for your project:

Design Phase:

Consultation: Initial consultations to understand your needs, preferences, and project scope.
Concept Development: The creation of innovative design concepts tailored to your vision and requirements.
Spatial Planning: Expert space utilization and layout planning for optimal functionality and aesthetics.
3D Modelling: Producing floor plans, elevations and 3D model.
Material Selection: Careful selection of lightings, materials, finishes, and colours to match your style.
Custom Designs: The development of unique and customized design elements, for example: joinery and wall panelling.
Final Presentation: Meeting with you to present the final design package for approval.

Our interior design fees are tailored to each project’s specific requirements, ensuring that you receive the services needed to bring your dream space to life.

What are our Design Fees?

Each project pricing aligns with your specific requirements and desires for the scope of the project. As a result, some of the scope of the design phase is adjusted for your project.

We provide a rough guide as an example of what you might expect to pay when engaging our services for the full design phase (ex.GST):

A + $40 x B m² + $300 * C + $300 * D

A: Minimum charge, $2700
B: Your project area
C: Custom detailed drawings
D: Cost per realistic render

A four bedroom 180m² complete house interior design including three pages of custom detailed drawings and two realistic renders.

You design fee are likely $2700 + $40 x 180m² + $300*3 + $300*2 = $11,400

The scope in the fee calculator includes each of the design phase elements and at a client’s election some adjustments can be made to work within a particular budget.

Execution Phase:

Following approval of the designs, we then move into the Execution Phase. Design fees are quoted for the remaining project based on the projected number of hours required to complete the work. The client is billed based on the initial quote, with adjustments made as required for any latent conditions.

Consultant introductions: Working with your existing consultants or introducing additional consultants where necessary to realise your project.
Procurement:Managing the procurement of all materials, fittings, local furniture sourcing and soft furnishings.
Site Inspections:Regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure design integrity.
Budget Management:Management of the budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to financial goals.
Collaboration: Collaboration with architects, builders and other professionals to streamline the design process.
Defect Management:Addressing any interior defects or damages promptly and efficiently.
Final Reveal:Offering a grand “final reveal” once the project is complete.
